A brief fire mock drill was conducted on fire extinguishers on Friday Morning, 5th April 2024 led by Global Development Organization, Deoghar Team,
Mr.Vijay Kumar (Executive Chief) &
Mr. Paresh Kumar (Regional Head).
The Mock drill was attended by our respected Education Officer, Principal Sir, OSD MITT, Campus Administrator, Teachers, Coordinators, Guards, & D- Group Staff with our Middle School & Senior School Students.
The following points were discussed, and Mock drill also conducted to create awareness to all of the attendees and how to use fire extinguishers and how many types of extinguishers we are using in our school also explained by the concept officers.
# Different types of fire extinguishers and their usage.
a. Water Type Extinguishers b. Carbondioxide Extinguishers
c. Dry Powder Extinguishers d. Put off the gas fires(Domestic & Business)
Participants were actively involved in the Demo process and learnt to deal with prevention of Accidental generation of fire in different situations.
The mock drill was carried out in the school to prepare students and teachers for any such eventuality under the fire risk reduction programme.
The purpose to organize the mock drill was to check the readiness of the school to face any such fire emergency and also to make the students and staff aware about the Fire Fighting Rescue Operation.
The session proved to be informative and an imperative lesson on life-saving skils.
