Under the guidance of CEO Sir, Headmistress Maโam, Middle School Coordinator Maโam and the NIP Team, students of Classes VI and VII celebrated Plant Adoption Day by adopting a guava tree and a mango tree on the school campus.
The initiative aimed to help students develop a personal and emotional connection with trees and understand the importance of caring for the natural world around them. Students tied Rakhi and took pledge and responsibility for observing and nurturing their adopted trees as part of their ongoing Nature Integration activities.
CEO Sir also adopted a tree and shared his valuable insights on the emotional bond that humans can develop with trees and plants. His interaction encouraged students to look beyond plants as mere objects of nature and recognise them as living beings that deserve care, attention and respect.
The activity marked a meaningful step towards nurturing responsibility, empathy and a deeper connection with nature among the students.
