National Sports Day Celebration 2025

Madhusthali Vidyapeeth celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and fervor on 29th August 2025 commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand.
In a special tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, a special morning assembly was conducted where the Campus Heads, Coordinators and respective teachers paid homage to the legendary hockey player promoting the theme "Ek Ghanta, Khel ke Maidan Main".
The event was marked by a series of exciting outdoor games and competitions for the students of the Foundation Stage and Junior Section which was held in the school's Sports Arena.
The young learners showcased their sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in a variety of competitions.
The highlight of the event was the Tug of War competition between the Standard 5A and 5B boys, which generated immense excitement.
The girls of Standard 5A and 5B also participated in the Spoon and Marble Race, demonstrating their agility and determination. Thereon, the class II students showcased their focus and concentration in the Balancing the Cup competition.
Meanwhile, our senior students also participated in a friendly Volleyball Match in dedication to our renowned freedom fighters promoting teamwork and camaraderie.
As such, the Volleyball Teams were named after our renowned freedom fighters - Birsa Munda and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
The winners of the competitions were felicitated with prizes, recognizing their achievements and encouraging them to continue pursuing their passion for sports.
The event was a resounding success, promoting the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among the students.
Overall, the National Sports Day celebration was a memorable experience for the students, teachers, and staff, highlighting the importance of sports and physical activity in shaping young minds.
