Rikhiapeeth Ashram Session,2024

Rikhiapeeth, located in a remote village near Deoghar, Jharkhand, is the tapobhumi of Paramahansa Satyananda, a renowned spiritual luminary and exponent of yoga. The ashram, which has evolved into a vibrant hub for yoga enthusiasts and spiritual seekers, focuses on seva (selfless service) and offers various activities such as yoga training, sadhana retreats, and ashram lifestyles.

The ashram's unique setting in a serene rural environment allows for detox and living yoga while serving others. The spiritual acharya, Peethadhishwari Swami Satyasangananda, guides the ashram's activities based on the teachings of Swami Satyananda and his Guru Swami Sivananda.

We felt extremely privileged to have with us the following Sanyasis from Rikhiyapeeth: Swami Suryaprakash, Swami Nityachaitanya, Swami Satyaswaroop, and Sannyasi Sukirti as our resource persons among us to enlighten our spiritual wellbeing.

Through the welcoming words of Ms. Lata Singh, the anchor of the event, the Rikhiapeeth Ashram Session of 2024 at Madhusthali Vidyapeeth got underway at 9:40 AM.

The program was divided into two seasons. During the first session, which went from 9:40 AM to 11:15 AM, students from classes IX to XII practiced a variety of yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques designed to encourage calmness and spiritual health. The workshop offered participants hands-on instruction and demonstrations, highlighting the significance of yoga and asanas in living a spiritually fulfilled life.

The second half of the program, which was devoted to teachers, started at 12:30 p.m. and ended at 1:40 p.m. It kept the emphasis on yoga and asanas, emphasizing their value for both professional and personal growth.

At the end of the presentation, Ms. Lata Singh, the host, on behalf of the entire Madhusthalian community, offered heartfelt thanks to our guests.

All in all, the Rikhiapeeth Ashram Session was a successful venture that encouraged spiritual development and holistic wellbeing in both teachers and students.
