Workshop on “Good Food Habits” 2024-25



On 10th August2024, a workshop on "Good Food Habits" was successfully conducted in the school dining hall of Madhusthali Vidyapeeth, aimed at promoting healthy eating practices among students and their families.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by the Junior School Coordinator Mrs. Smriti Chatterjee, who highlighted the importance of parental involvement in fostering good food habits in children. Following this, Mrs. Montina Massey and Wellness In-charge Mrs. Suparna Das presented an informative PPT, detailing the essential nutrients required for a balanced diet and the benefits of healthy eating.

The workshop featured an interactive segment where a few mothers demonstrated their favorite healthy recipes, providing practical examples of nutritious meals that can be easily prepared at home.

The canteen in-charge Mrs. Rakhi Samanta then presented her insights, focusing on the importance of choosing wholesome and nutritious options in school meals.

The workshop concluded with an inspiring message from Education Officer, Mr. Janadan Ghosh, who commended the parents for their active involvement and encouraged them to continue setting positive example for our children.

As a token of appreciation, the parents who presented their recipes were each gifted with a sapling, symbolizing sustenance, growth and the nurturing of good habits. The workshop concluded with light refreshments.

Overall, the workshop was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from parents and a strong emphasis on the importance of good food habits.
